Chinese Money

Chinese yi (one) yuan renminbi bill. Written across the top in english lettering is `China people`s bank`. At the time this bill was published, China had two forms of currency-the local renminbi (people`s money), and FEC (foreign exchange currency), that you could buy foreign products with at special stors if you were a foreigner or privelaged Chinese person. This is the former and had no official value outside the country.
